Instant Pot x CBC Holiday House
Instant Pot | Press Trip
The Situation
Instant Pot had a new mini product line ready for the holiday gifting season — and a perception challenge to match. For many editors, Instant Pot still meant the original pressure cooker: useful, but singular.
The brand needed hands-on time with the right media to demonstrate that its newest appliances were stylish, versatile, and built for the modern kitchen. Instant Pot came to CBC to make that introduction count.
The Solution
All Is Mini & Bright: Dinner with Instant Pot
CBC brought Instant Pot into CBC’s Holiday House in Stowe, Vermont, a four-day retreat gathering 19 top lifestyle and consumer media editors for curated brand experiences ahead of the holiday season.
For its dedicated evening activation, “All Is Mini & Bright: Dinner with Instant Pot,” the brand hosted an interactive cooking demo and dinner built around the new mini line.
- The evening opened with festive mocktails and a crostini tower before editors gathered for a live demo where they learned how each course was prepared using the brand-new mini appliances.
- Throughout dinner, the Instant Pot team wove personal family holiday stories through each course, giving editors a connection to the brand that went well beyond the products.
- Each editor arrived to a branded mini spice gift set at their place setting and wore Instant Pot aprons throughout the activation.
- Appliances were also placed throughout the property for continued organic interaction across both sessions.
