The Situation
Lifeway Foods — the probiotic pioneer behind America’s best-selling kefir — teamed with Erewhon to launch a “Love Your Gut Pumpkin Spice Smoothie”, a seasonal creation made with Lifeway Kefir. Introducing it called for more than a product drop; it called for a moment.
The goal: bring Los Angeles’ most influential lifestyle, food, and wellness voices into Lifeway’s world — celebrating fall flavors while championing the brand’s mission of gut health, immune support, and holistic well-being.
The Solution
CBC hosted top-tier media and influencers to Unplug Meditation — LA’s modern meditation and yoga studio — for a serene morning of relaxation. Guests moved through a rejuvenating yoga session, then sampled across Lifeway’s line: Probiotic Smoothie + Collagen, Flavor Fusions, Farmer Cheese, Functional Shots, and Lowfat Kefir.
The group then walked to Erewhon Santa Monica for an exclusive first taste of the new smoothie and an intimate conversation with CEO Julie Smolyansky. Each guest left with a branded tote of samples, coupons, The Kefir Cookbook, and a Turkish towel — a lasting reminder of Lifeway’s holistic mission.
