The Situation
Dole Whip Spoonable Smoothies were set to launch, and in anticipation of potential backlash due to differences of the new smoothies and the Dole Whip fans love and enjoy ay Disney, Dole was in search of a crisis communications strategy.

The Solution
CBC created a detailed (11-page) Integrated Communications Resource Guide that was presented to Dole’s C-Suite and utilized internally by Dole’s management and customer service teams. The plan outlined standardized strategy and coordinated process to manage responses. It included protocol for situational responses to ensure messages were consistent and clear.
