Earlier this season, CBC hosted its first-ever Health House – a sun-soaked wellness retreat on beautiful Captiva Island, Florida. Over four days, leading media in the health, wellness, and lifestyle spaces experienced some of the most innovative brands through energizing workouts, hands-on product discovery, nourishing meals, and scenic exploration.
Here’s an inside look at the standout moments from our immersive wellness getaway.
DAY 1: A Warm Welcome
We kicked things off with a tour of the stunning Sea Oats Luxury Estate, followed by a welcome lunch hosted by Drip Castle Estate Collections. Editors had the chance to explore the property’s impressive amenities and settle into their home for the next four days.
That afternoon, Icelandic Glacial Water brought the energy with a KINRGY movement class, spotlighting their exciting new partnership with Julianne Hough. Despite the Florida heat, editors stayed refreshed with Icelandic Glacial’s still and sparkling waters.
Next up, attendees were treated to a private shopping experience at Chico’s original Sanibel Island store, where they styled outfits and selected pieces from the new summer collection. The day wrapped with a delicious seaside dinner at one of the island’s newest local gems.

DAY 2: Mindful Movement & Flavorful Finds
Premier Protein kicked off the morning with a relaxing beachside yoga session, followed by a protein-packed breakfast and custom coffee bar. Media sampled fan-favorite shakes and got an exclusive first taste of the brand’s new almond milk line.
Next up, doTERRA hosted a scenic stand-up paddleboarding class, where editors explored the coastline while testing the brand’s Sun Care and Deep Blue products in a naturally immersive setting.

Lunch came courtesy of Zespri, who highlighted the versatility of their SunGold kiwifruit with a vibrant, fruit-forward menu. Dishes ranged from kiwi mocktails and salads to fish tacos and a show-stopping pavlova – a delicious showcase of how nutritious can also mean indulgent.
Later on, Nodpod invited guests to unwind with a restorative sound bath, enhanced by their original weighted sleep masks and BODY blankets. The session offered a calming reset during an otherwise high-energy itinerary.
Dinner with Fresh Express brought creativity to the table. Editors joined a hands-on food styling workshop before sitting down to a beautifully curated dinner, where each course incorporated one of the brand’s newest salad kits — showing just how flavorful and versatile these convenient kits can be.
DAY 3: Fuel, Fun & Functional Wellness
Day three started strong with a heart-pumping HIIT workout led by Amazfit, showcasing the Active 2 Smartwatch and Zepp App. After a nutritious breakfast, editors tracked their workout data and explored the brand’s fitness-tracking tools.

Next, Vital Farms brought the fun with a lively pickleball session that had everyone laughing, rallying, and bonding on the court. Afterward, attendees recharged with protein-packed lunches featuring fan-favorite egg salad sandwiches.
The afternoon was all about exploration, thanks to Olipop, who led a whimsical island moke tour while unveiling two new flavors: Orange Cream and Peaches & Cream. Attendees sipped as they cruised, stopping at some of Captiva’s most scenic beach destinations.

Dinner with KitchenAid turned into a multisensory experience. Editors gathered for a wellness-infused evening featuring product demos and a hands-on tasting of dishes made with the brand’s latest innovations – from fresh green juice and shredded chicken tacos to perfectly crafted espresso martinis.
To end the evening, Natural Cycles created a cozy, intimate setting for a post-dinner conversation focused on women’s health. With herbal tea and cheeky uterus-shaped cookies in hand, editors gathered around OB/GYN Dr. Jessica Shepherd for an empowering discussion on body literacy and cycle tracking.
DAY 4: A Cool-Down & Farewell
To close out the trip, Berkeley Life hosted a revitalizing cold plunge session and served up smoothies formulated to support nitric oxide production, offering both education and rejuvenation before guests headed to the airport.
