Account Coordinator, Digital & Content

A coordinator excels in getting things done and tracking all the little details that go into successfully managing client programs. You have strong organizational skills, copywriting skills and excel at taking tasks off others’ plates. You will learn and support content development and the inner workings of client management: reporting, task tracking, merchandising and intelligence gathering.

An effective Coordinator must have strong social media copywriting skills. They must understand social channel tactics and the different creator tools available for use. They must be familiar with Influencer Marketing and a quick study on how to research, contract and manager Influencer marketing programs.

Requirements:

  • Must have good computer skills and proficient knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote.
  • Skills in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Brandwatch, SharpSpring and/or other platforms are a plus.
  • More than anything, must be a quick learner, an effective communicator to your superiors, and demonstrate a drive to stay ahead of innovations in digital marketing.

Essential Skills, Functions

  • Mapping social content calendars with managers to match brand goals;
  • Manage daily social platforms, tracking and response systems (during on- and off-business hours)
  • Work with account team to develop and implement strategy, including digital and social campaigns and asset development
  • Draft social copy for calendars adopting brand tone of voice; proofread and editing
  • Leverage influencer software to identify and reach out to potential influencers
  • Coordinate ongoing product seeding to get clients’ products in the hands of influencers
  • Support creative asset development for digital campaigns
  • Conduct research, including competitive analysis, measuring results, compiling social mentions/items, and writing campaign reports
  • Provide real-time social support to client events
  • Assist on administrative assignments for the firm, as necessary and as time permits
  • Develop practical knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and stays up to date on best practices
  • Detail-oriented and accountable
  • Takes initiative and responsibility to manage meeting reports and tracking documents
  • Assist in keeping the account team and client organized
  • Shows strong interest in digital & marketing trends and appetite to learn more. 

 

Account Executive, PR & Activation

CBC is looking for an Account Executive, PR & Activation to join our exciting PR team working on accounts in the health and wellness, food and beverage space.

The AE is a media relations pro who enjoys and excels in getting things done and tracking all the details that go into successfully managing client programs, campaigns and events. The AE has strong organizational skills and excels at taking tasks off of others’ plates. They have developed a knack for pitching media and know how to build an effective story. They have secured placements for clients in top-tier print, digital, broadcast and podcast outlets. The AE is a highly motivated team player who has the ability to multi-task and be proactive.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Write creative and interesting media pitches
  • Draft press releases, including quotes on behalf of clients
  • Develop and sustain relationships with consumer press on behalf of clients and agency
  • Pitch target media and secure placements in top-tier outlets across print, digital, broadcast and podcast
  • Brainstorm fresh ideas for PR campaigns
  • Actively contribute to media strategy, including development of proactive pitch angles, media mailer concepts and event ideas
  • Assist in monitoring of media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients
  • Measure and analyze PR results, providing recaps to clients
  • Stay up to date on industry workings, happenings and media shifts
  • Attend client and industry events
  • Work with PR team on CBC HOUSE programs and client events – including but not limited to: vendor research, coordinating event logistics, on-site execution, media relations, recapping
  • Manage and mentor Account Coordinator and interns
  • Contribute to all team and company efforts, large and small

Qualifications:

  • Track record of securing coverage in top press outlets
  • Existing database of media relationships
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented is a must
  • Adhere to deadlines; manage up
  • Health, Wellness, Food & Beverage brand PR experience is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Cision, Keynote, Zoom, Slack and Google Drive. Knowledge of Adobe and Photoshop is a plus.

CBC is looking for a Senior Account Executive, PR & Activation to join our exciting lifestyle consumer team working on accounts in the food, health and wellness space.

The SAE excels in getting things done and tracking all the details that go into successfully managing client programs, campaigns and events. The SAE has strong organizational skills and excels at taking tasks off of others’ plates. They have developed a knack for pitching media and know how to build an effective story. They have secured feature placements for clients in top-tier print, digital, broadcast and podcast outlets. They have planned and managed client events – i.e. press previews, launch events and press trips. The SAE has also shown mastery of the inner workings of client management and is a highly motivated team player who has the ability to multi-task and be proactive.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:            

  • Write media pitches, press releases, memos and other client documents
  • Develop and sustain relationships with business and consumer press on behalf of clients and agency
  • Develop a pitching strategy with creative angles and tactics
  • Pitch target media and secure placements (news items, features, product round-ups) in top-tier outlets across print, digital, broadcast and podcast
  • Develop and write client-facing strategies and PR plans
  • Measure and analyze PR results and metrics to apply to future strategies and plans
  • Up to date on industry workings, happenings and media shifts
  • Adhere to deadlines; manage up
  • Manage event budgets, track vendor expenses, reconciliation of master budgets
  • Proofread and edit documents from junior team members
  • Work with account team on HOUSE programs and client events – including but not limited to: vendor research, coordinating event logistics, on-site execution, media relations
  • Lead client calls; be a leader on all PR account teams
  • Manage and mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to all team and company efforts, large and small

They have successfully managed junior team members and have show mastery of the inner workings of client management. The Manager understands the nuances of media relations, and has the ability and experience to cut through the noise and place strategic, tier-one stories for clients. They are a highly motivated team player who has the ability to multi-task and be proactive.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Write media pitches, press releases, memos and other client documents
  • Develop and sustain relationships with business and consumer press on behalf of clients and agency
  • Oversee the development of a pitching strategy with creative angles and tactics
  • Develop creative concepts – mailers, events, stunts – for media relations clients
  • Pitch and secure feature placements, executive profiles and interviews for clients
  • Develop and write client-facing strategies and PR plans
  • Up to date on industry workings, happenings and media shifts
  • Adhere to deadlines; manage up
  • Manage event budgets, track vendor expenses, reconciliation of master budgets
  • Proofread and edit documents from junior team members
